PERU 2018
The Lord was so faithful, to reveal his power and compassion to the people of Peru on this, our sixth trip there.
As you travel through this 2018 report, note some of the highlights:
Many salvations: All age groups, from young teenagers to some in their 70’s.
Dreams and visions: In 2 different places, the Lord confirmed this trip by people receiving dreams and visions that was revealed to us, as we ministered to those individuals, they received the gift the Lord had for them.
Baptisms in the Holy Spirit, and begun to speak in tongues: Several were powerfully transformed, and radically changed. Christianity took on a whole new experience, as they left the room full of joy and eternally changed.
Freedom from the lies of the enemy: Several women who had abortions; the Lord set them free from, condemnation, guilt and regrets. Several were delivered and set free, from the spirit of fear. Many were delivered from tormenting pain in their hearts, going clear back to childhood. Several were set free from trauma and stress.
A fasting church: One of the churches that we ministered in a year ago, invited us back on this trip. The entire church had fasted for three days prior to our arriving at their place. The power the Holy Spirit was so strong there, as people were being healed and delivered instantly. To finish the evening there; we lined up those remaining and laid hands on them. All (none were left standing) were slain in the spirit. The Holy Spirit was ministering powerful blessings to this committed church.
Praise report, from last year’s trip: We had asked the lady pastor of the fasting church, if there were any testimonies from our visit there one year ago? She said: “Oh yes”, a lady you prayed for with cancer, had gone home and later told the pastor, that she vomited up blood, and has no trace of cancer since.
Physical healings: We saw the Lord healing backs, arms, legs, headaches, gastric problems, cysts, thyroid issues, eyesight restored, hearing restored, legs grown out, arthritic pain gone. There were many other issues that we laid hands on, and believe by faith, they were healed also.
Lady healed of uterine cancer (as we watched): Stella had been battling uterine cancer for over three years. After discussing with her unforgiveness issues, directed towards her alcoholic ex-husband, she chose to forgive him. Joyce and I laid hands on her, cursed the spirit of cancer and the root and cause of it. Stella’s entire body began to shake violently. She said she felt something start around her neck and work down through her body, and eventually left her. She placed her hands down in the area where the pain had been, then jumped up and said; “The pain is no more, it’s gone”. She and her two daughters, began to dance, because the pain was gone.
“I want freedom, I don’t want to be sad and bitter anymore”
Nancy, a 62-year-old Christian lady, felt she had a hard heart, and is tired of being sad and bitter about life. As our discussion revealed, she had some unforgiveness towards her mother, and the idea that she had to do more works to get to God. She was frustrated and miserable, and not enjoying her Christian walk.
She repented of her works and came to trust in grace, forgiving her mother, and also forgave herself. She asked the Lord to forgive her of things she thought, that she had to help Jesus fulfill his mission at the cross.
We asked her if she loves her self, and she said: “now, yes”. Joyce laid hands on her hands and fingers, along with a kidney issue, and a spot on her breast. We believe by faith, Nancy was touched by the Lord and healed.
Interpreter receives the Holy Spirit, and begins to pray and sing in the power the Holy Spirit
Vicky, who was our interpreter for the day, wanted prayer for some fears and worries. Vicky, seeing she needed God’s power in her life, not her own power, requested us to pray over her for the baptism of the Holy Spirit. She began to pray in tongues, then started to hum, and then she began to sing in her new heavenly language.
She said, “This is great, I feel his presence, his peace and security”. She said; “I felt a force that wants to go up all over my body”. Thank you Jesus for baptizing her with boldness and confidence!
Lady healed of failures of life, and her hearing was restored
Cecilia, 64, was seeking inner healing from disappointments and failures in life. By faith, she laid all her past on the cross; the bad relationship with her mother, and how she failed to fulfill her educational opportunities. She chose to forgive her mother, and herself, and was set free of all the condemnation, guilt, and shame which kept her out of faith.
After Joyce prayed for her hearing, she said with a smile; “I feel good and I can hear much better”. Thank you Jesus!
Lady forgives her mother for doing drugs, and for being a poor role model
Sareta, a 36-year-old mother of three children, felt her life was lacking guidance and consistency. Sareta, chose to forgive her mother for playing favorites, and for being a poor role model in her life, along with all the disappointments that came from her mother’s poor choices.
After Joyce prayed over the lump on her breast, she said; “I don’t have fear anymore”. Sareta made a choice now, to love her mother the way God loves her.
Pastor’s son struggles with identity
Percy, a 30-year-old pastor’s son, was tired of his life and said; “I don’t feel I am the right person to walk on the Lord’s Path”. We prayed with him that in Jesus, he would find true fulfillment in his life. Jesus we ask you to draw him to you, and allow him to see his purpose of life.
Young couple seeking for a new start in Jesus
We sat down with Luis and Carol, as they asked for prayer for their upcoming marriage. Luis lived a life of drugs and violence, and never had a role model in his life.
We visited Carol a year ago and, prayed for her, because she was dealing with uterus cancer. She has been healed.
They both want a fresh start in life, and want to serve the Lord. Carol’s father was saved and healed, from our visit with him one year ago.
Joyce and I laid hands on them, and spoke into their lives, their marriage, their future, their destiny, and together with Jesus, they would overcome any obstacle. Thank you Jesus for this precious couple!
Lady healed of stomach and back issues
Louisa, a 58-year-old lady, who had been a Christian for three years, wanted prayer for her children, and was suffering from stomach and back pain.
After this Joyce laid hands on her; rotated her pelvis; and spoke to the pH levels in her stomach.
Louisa said; “The stomach pain is gone, and the back pain is no more”. She had a sign of relief on her face. After that, we prayed in agreement with her about her children’s future in Christ Jesus. Thank you Lord for this mother’s heart!
62 year-old grandma healed
Luz Maria, 62, came asking for prayer, for diabetes, stomach problems, and oppression. After discussing with her the need to repent of confusion, and for carrying burdens which were causing her health problems.
Joyce laid hands on her stomach and pancreas. Luz Maria said; “The oppression on her chest was gone, and she felt something running down her back”. After prayer she said; “the pain is gone and my stomach is good now”. Thank you Jesus, you are the healer!
Forgive herself for aborting her first child
Freida, 59, expressed to us the lack of stability in her life as a child. Her mother left her when she was five years old, and her military father was very strict. She experienced rejection, abandonment, and guilt. With tears, and she prayed and forgave her mother and father. She confessed to us, how she had an abortion early in life, while she was dating her husband. Freida carried a lot of guilt, for many years.
We prayed with her to forgive herself and to stop judging herself, and accept the fact that God has forgiven her. She was due for relief in this issue, and now, had the peace she was seeking for. She said; “I can now live in harmony and peace”. Thank you Jesus, you came to set the captives free, no more guilt!
