Peru 2017
This is our fifth trip to Peru, and we are always amazed, as to what the Holy Spirit has in store. Please, do enjoy some of these testimonies and photos, of what the Lord has done.
On several occurrences during this trip, the Lord has allowed us to see the results and a harvest from previous trips.
1. A lady whom we had visited two years ago, that had come down from the Highlands, with the intentions of getting medical treatment for stomach cancer. We had the opportunity to minister to her in a home, on the other end of the city. At that time, we cursed the root and cause of this deadly disease! On this latest trip, we were told that she was healed, and was cancer free, cleared by the doctors, and returned to the Highlands where she lived. Thank you Jesus!
2. One year ago, a young man and his sister received the baptism of the Holy Spirit, and began speaking in tongues. We met the young man this year, being our interpreter, and we couldn’t help but notice the change in this young man. He was full of boldness, and was serving the Lord through his church. It was a true blessing for us to see him with such a high level of confidence and power operating in him, through the power of the Holy Spirit. We love watching people being transformed, when they start trusting by faith in the power of the Holy Spirit.
3. A young man that we ministered the baptism of the Holy Spirit, one year ago, is now pastoring a church. This young pastor, has a heart to lay hands on the sick, and see them recover. He said he speaks in tongues now, and is operating in other gifts of the spirit also. He had many questions to ask about the healing ministry.
4. We also saw the Lord heal all parts of the body, hearing restored, eyesight restored, backs healed, headaches gone, long-lasting pain gone, stress and trauma gone and cancer patients touched by the power the Holy Spirit The s and pirit of fear gone, many physical and spiritual burdens lifted, especially through forgiveness issues. We saw families restored, through the knowledge of truth.
5. The Lord’s compassion was evident throughout the trip: we saw over 20 lost souls come into the kingdom, several baptized in the Holy Spirit who is began speaking in other tongues. We saw many Peruvian people set free from long time bondages, by hearing the word of truth. All praise be to the Lord Jesus Christ! There were many more healings, that we saw the Lord do on this trip, but for the sake of space, we were forced to limit to these select testimonies.
Daughter of pastor, dealing with fear
A 22-year-old daughter of a pastor, was dealing with an incident (of a bloody encounter) that was happening to people, which was something she experienced as a small child. Her fear was that this would happen to her. After ministering to her, and telling her that “God will protect her in all situations”. We laid hands on her and prayed over her, and after this she said, “I feel tranquil, and that the fear was gone.” Thank you Jesus!
Medical injections to his shoulder for the pain did not work, but Jesus healed him
Guillermo, who was 65, had been experiencing constant shoulder pain. The injections he received, did not relieve the pain! After we grew out his arms, and spoke to his body, little by little the pain was leaving, until all the pain was gone, 100% gone. Thank you Jesus, you are the great physician!
Salvation and healing come to 84-year-old bed-ridden lady
Elizabeth, an 84-year-old lady, with stomach problems, high blood pressure, and gastritis (Gerds). Elizabeth was staying with her daughter, but was originally from the jungles of Peru. She committed her life to Christ, and Jesus touched her body with healing.
Her daughter repeated the prayer of salvation and she said: “as I prayed with mom; praying asking Jesus into my heart, I also felt healing going through my body”. Thank you Holy Spirit for your presence!
This is not God’s best for you
Juana, 68, had trouble walking because of pain in her back and legs. We spent time talking with her about who put these problems on her, and who can take them off (John 10:10 Jesus came to give her the abundant life). After Joyce prayed, laying hands-on her, and spoke to that mountain of pain, the pain was all gone and she walked with a new and renewed spring in her step. Thank you Jesus!
She wanted to die, or have someone kill her
Isabel, who was 70, had a very violent childhood and eventually ran away from home. She recalls as a child, how her father would drink excessively and then beat her. Her mother was not in her life. Later, her life continued with more abuse coming from her husband, and through all the years of continual abuse, she wanted to die or have someone kill her. She has been a Christian for 15 years.
We helped her address forgiveness issues towards her father, her husband, and herself. She suffered from thrombosis! After Joyce prayed for her, she said: “My head is not heavy anymore”. She walked and moved around, and all the pain was gone. She felt happy and different from when we first meet her. “Jesus you are the restorer”.
A long journey of abandonment, and the trauma of life
Fortunato, a 74-year-old lady, came to us with such a sad outlook on life. Her body was plagued by: thyroid issues, osteoporosis, bone pain, gallbladder problems, feelings of dizziness and weakness, back and neck pain, plus eye problems. Her mother died at childbirth, so she never knew her mother. At one point in their childhood she actually lived in a cave. She carried a lot of bitterness from an abusive marriage.
She prayed and forgave her father, and her abusive husband, along with all the deep feelings of abandonment. After this, Joyce laid hands on her, and spoke into many of those areas of her body. Notice: spiritual healing must take place, before the physical! She said: “I feel calm, the pain in my knees and neck are gone, and my vision has improved”. This all took place, after repentance! She began dancing, stomping on the devil, for he was now under her feet…she was changed! Thank you Jesus, for your mighty deliverance!
She said to Joyce, “I saw you in my dream! It was you!”
Carlina, the pastor’s daughter, had not been living for God. She had been living with an abusive man, and now has a 12-year-old daughter. She had a blood circulation issue over her right eye, and believes it was result of her being beaten continuously, by the man she lived with for 10 years.
Carlina prayed with us, and repented to the Lord for running from him. She re-committed her life to Christ, then said to Joyce, “You were in my dream, it was you, and now you are here with me”. She kept repeating this! She had a powerful smile on her face after her repentance. Thank you Lord, you are the restorer and the mighty healer!
29-year-old lady, renounces the influence of witchcraft
Angie, came with her daughter, seeking prayer for headaches, back pain, eye and nose pain.
Angie had been a Christian for five months, and did not see anything wrong with witchcraft. We explained to her the seriousness of this; relying on any power except the Lord Jesus Christ and what he did at the cross. She repented of the deeds and the vows, and she asked the Lord to forgive her. She felt much better after prayer! Praise you Jesus!
Young lady with multiple problems, has her hearing restored
Rudit,31, shared how many troubles in her life, pulled her away from God. Rudit had a punctured ear membrane and had fluid coming out of her ear, which caused her to have limited hearing. The doctor said she needed surgery. She also shared how an automobile accident eight years ago, caused the death of her mother-in-law. From the accident she suffered severe spine problems. She also related that she fell in the shower, and re-injured her back. Then we laid hands on her and cursed all the trauma, cellular memory, all the pain, rebuked all infection and commanded a creative miracle in her damaged ear.
Before Joyce laid hands on her, we asked her: does she believe that Jesus wants to heal her now? She said: “Yes”, and yes he did! Her hearing was restored, and all the pain was gone in her back. Then we prayed for her joy to be restored; and to be filled with the Holy Spirit. Thank you Lord for your compassion to heal all!
The barrier of the past was removed (this is a big WOW)!
Obdelia, 68-year-old lady, came from a family of 20 siblings. Obdelia had a fall as a child, and damaged both hips, along with her spine, which caused her to be wheelchair-bound to this day. She shared how her brother had raped her, and that she conceived a little boy. Her mother made her go to another city, to have the baby and then give the child away. She had some bitter feelings of unforgiveness towards her brother, and she also longed to find her son, that was given away.
After visiting with her about unforgiveness, and the need to release her brother, she agreed and chose to forgive him. She suffered of diabetes, problems with her legs, spine, and also kidney problems. After she forgave her brother; that gave us legal rights to lay hands on her. Joyce laid hands on her and spoke into all those areas. She said she felt tranquil, she also said: “It feels like all wounds and barriers from my early years have been erased”. She felt different all over, and said: “My heart feels different”. She shared how she has a longing in her heart to find, and get to know her son; so we prayed and agreed with her, that they would be re-united. Jesus you are the great healer of the past!
After 22 years of grieving: “You mean, God didn’t kill my daughter?”
Irene, a 78-year-old lady, had been suffering from the a lot of trauma, arthritis, and arthrosis. Irene had 11 children, and 22 years ago, she lost one of her daughters to sickness. The loss of her daughter caused great distress, and there wasn’t any joy in her life. She said: “God has taken her”. After explaining to her that God did not take her daughter, and that you have an enemy to your soul, she was quite relieved to hear this. That helped restore her trust and understanding of who God was. You see; Irene was afraid of God, thinking and wondering, who he would take next. She said: “I am very relieved to hear that God did not kill my daughter”.
Irene; suddenly realized the goodness of the Lord, and gave her heart to Jesus. After this, Joyce laid hands on her for the issues in her body. The Holy Spirit was healing her, and her joy started to come back with a smile on her face.
Praise the Lord for the truth she needed to hear, it set her free! She felt relaxed and at peace; she said: “He healed me, it was a miracle from God”.
Side note: Irene had several of her family members there, watching and listening to what was being said. When Irene bowed her head and prayed to receive Christ into her heart, two of her daughters bowed their Heads also, and quietly with their lips moving, also prayed the prayer of salvation. Lord you are the God of salvation !
“I can’t find the pain”
Claudio, a 78-year-old man, fell 2 weeks ago and cracked his ribs and was presently in pain. Claudio, also suffered from trauma, and had pain in his waist along with his back ribs. After we laid hands on him and spoke to his ribs and other issues, and commanded all pain to go, he said: “I feel much, much better. The pain has disappeared” moving around he said: “I can’t find the pain”. We instructed him to not go looking for the pain either, or the devil will accommodate you. Thank you Jesus!
