Life’s Purpose

Have you ever considered your purpose in life? What was God’s reason to put me on this earth? No one on earth is without a pre-ordained purpose. Each is unique and all have a purpose! True fulfillment in life is knowing that purpose, which can bring you a lot of peace. Sad to say, some never find it. I believe we all strive in that direction, but many different distractions can cause us to lose our way. God has put an innate quest in each of us to find that purpose, but there is an enemy of our soul that continues to bring a lie or a counterfeit. The lie comes in a lot of forms; material possessions, an over inflated reputation, success (which is important), your intellect,  the praises of men, pride (I can’t be wrong), religion (my good works are my purpose), and others.

Proverbs 14:12 says: “There is a way that seems right to man, but in the end it leads to destruction”.

If you want to know your purpose, you need to go to the one who created you and also designed your tailor-made purpose, specifically for you, and with your name on it.

He designed for you to do great exploits in your life, so that He would be glorified.

The Bible says in John 14:6 : Jesus said: “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me”.

In that Scripture Jesus is saying: “I am the way”, “I am the truth”, “I am the life”. Jesus designed the way for your purpose. Jesus said: “I am the truth”, I won’t lead you to the wrong purpose. Jesus said: When you find that purpose you find life, “I am that life”.

If you want to know your Creator and to know his purpose for your life, pray this prayer by faith, from your heart. This is the good news! The Bible says: “He will not deny a contrite heart”.

“Prayer”

Heavenly father, I come to you in the name of Jesus Christ. I come to you asking; for me to know my purpose in life. Your word says: “Whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved”. The word also says: “Thou shalt confess with my mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

By faith now I call upon the Lord Jesus Christ that he is the only way, he is the truth and he is the life. I believe with my heart that God raised him from the dead. Jesus I want you to have the final word for my life, I want to know and have your purpose fulfilled for my life; so I give you my heart. I want you to come and live in my heart to be my Lord and Savior, forever. I know that only your purpose for my life, will bear eternal fruit.

I want to be filled and led by your Holy Spirit, and I also want my heavenly language; speaking in other tongues.

I thank you for dying on the cross for me, cleansing me of all my sins, and now by faith I receive your purpose for my life through the Holy Spirit and power to live a victorious life serving you. From this day forward, I want my life to count for your purposes. I receive in my heart this GOOD NEWS!

In Jesus name, amen.
